Another week of glorious weather. Sadly, not set to continue, so if you are planning a BBQ – get your orders in quick. Friday the temperature is set to dip. Not for long we hope. Alternatively. Start planning for a delicious roast this weekend.
We have added Picpul de Pinet, from the Languedoc, France, as a new wine offering this week – a nice change from Sauvignon Blanc and great to enjoy with offerings from the BBQ.
We are also delighted to now offer some Charcuterie from Corte Buona – great with an aperitif or some Harveys’
Mortadella 100g £1.95
Speck 80g £2.60
Spinata Romana 80g £2.60
Antipasto Misto (Salami, Prosciutto & Coppa) £2.75
Remember we take requests for items not on our list – Sweet Potatoes, Courgettes etc, so please don’t be shy!
The Harvey’s IPA sold out, and so have Harveys’! This week we are receiving limited quantities of
Tom Paine 5.5% - Full Malty Palate and Bitterness to Match - £3.40
Copperwheat – 4.8% - Clear Wheat Beer with Light Hop Bitterness - £2.95
Olympia – 4.3% - Refreshing Light Golden Ale, a Summer favourite - £2.60
We have sold some coffee to a few of you and thank you for the wonderful feedback – it is delicious.
Remember to order all provisions by 5pm the night before for collection/delivery the following day.
Many of you have been enquiring as to when we will be opening. We are currently planning for the 4th July, as set out in the Governments timeline. This is of course all subject to the five key tests being met. As a result we are not taking any bookings for the time being. We will keep you posted as when we will be open and how the Cat will operate under new guidance (which is yet to be given).
We feel there is light at the end of this tunnel and cannot wait to welcome you back.
Have a great week. Keep safe and well
