This is a relatively new blend, harnessing the soft Tempranillo with the more robust Malbec. As you would expect, this is an excellent wine with most red meats, but it is also gentle enough to be enjoyed on its own.

This Shiraz is produced from fruit harvested from the Red Cliff and Coonawarra vineyards near to the town of Red Cliff. The wine features a bouquet of ripe plums with hints of liquorice and black pepper. Full on the palate with a subtle oak support and a lingering finish.

Located in the heart of Gascony, (South-West France) on clay-chalk and clay-silt soils. The nose exhales aromatic and complex flavours of red fruits (blackcurrant and blackberry) and floral hints; slightly roasted and vanilla in part. Tannins are well-balanced, supple and fruity with final spicy notes.

An enjoyable red blend, made up primarily with Nero D’Avola and a portion of Merlot and Syrah. Nero D’Avola is Sicily’s number 1 grape variety, and is indigenous to the island. Fedele Rosso is a pleasant, every-day drinking wine, due to its wonderful structure and soft tannins. Organic wine.

Gouguenheim Winery, Mendoza, Argentina
This winery located in the Uco Valley in Mendoza was bought by Patricio Gouguenheim in 2002 and has now become one of the best top quality wineries in Argentina.
After spending 4 months in French oak, this is a rich wine with aromas of ripe fruit, plum, black cherry, black-currant, chocolate and violet. Well balanced with a good structure and soft tannins.
35. Monte Ory Navarra Crianza 2013 £27 13.5%
Bodega Luis Gurpegui Muga, Spain
This Crianza is a blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon that has been aged in American oak Barriques for 12 months and has benefited from a further 6 months in bottle. The resulting wine is balanced with ripe black cherry fruit softened by the hints of cedar wood. It will go perfectly with pasta dishes and roasts.

37. Chateau La Tuilerie Du Puy 2014 £29 13%

A perfect wine that is regularly selected by the most famous wine guides in France (Hachette, Dussert Gerber, Gilbert & Gaillard...).
Who says that Bordeaux wines must be expensive ?? The Château La Tuilerie du Puy is a perfect example for a Bordeaux Supérieur, pure, very well balanced and full of taste.
The impression in the mouth is extremely fine with soft tannins. The finish is fruity and very long. A real pleasure!
38. Minervois 2016 £30 13.5%
Made from vineyards in the La Livinière village area, grown on clay and limestone soils that give a fullness to the wine. The Grenache are old bush vines very well adapted to the hot climate and minimal rainfall of this area which give a big, juicy flavours and to these are added 20% of Syrah grapes for added substance and aromatics.

The grape variety Tempranillo excels in the Rioja area producing soft and seductive wines. This Bodega is owned by the Gurpegui family, whose wines are generally highly thought of. This Crianza has not been over oaked; instead the wine maker has allowed the natural quality of the fruit to shine through.

Mitchell Winery, Clare Valley, Australia
The conditions of rocky barren soils, old, dry grown vines and a long ripening period, which their selected vineyards in Clare offer, the fruit develops the flavours and structure for a complex varietal wine.
The resulting wine is not aged in wood, in order to preserve the complex array of fresh lively flavours of the variety - the black cherry and soft fruit tannins. A wine of great style with both power and finesse.

A soft, generous Merlot. The juicy plum flavours are well-balanced with savoury, leathery oak characters. Elegant Merlot with fine tannin structure and silky mouth feel.

Chateau Thivin, France
The Gamay grape finds its home in France's Burgundy region where it is responsible for the red wines of Beaujolais. Producing light to medium bodied wines with modest tannins and good acidity, Gamay is unfairly associated with Beaujolais Nouveau. It is capable of producing wonderful, cherry and raspberry flavored wines with earthy hints of violets and spice.

Pio Cesare, Piedmont, Italy Pio’s Barbera is a wine quite different from many other Barbera. This is because the Barbera grapes are grown alongside the Nebbiolo grapes. This, combined with the extensive barrel ageing, results in a wine with the strength and wild energy of a Barbera, but the refined elegance of Barolo. This is a unique Barbera—full and brave, yet soft and supple.

Delicious with a lovely tasting lemon flavour. The lemon’s used to make this limoncello come from Italy’s Amalfi coast.
